Malini Awasthi who is a very well-known Indian folk singer. She sings in Hindi language dialects like Awadhi, Bundelkhandi and Bhojpuri. She is a recipient of Padma Shri in 2016 from The Government of India for distinguished service. Malini Awasthi supported in spreading the message of love and friendship which will help to make both Indian and Hindustani Suriname Community. OFBJP honoured her talent during the Bhojpuri Sangeet Sammelan in The Netherlands.
